Day
1
USA to London, England
Depart
from USA on an overnight flight to London.
Day 2 London
The
day will begin with a tour to the ancient
town of Windsor. The Windsor Castle is one
of the oldest royal residences in the world
and the weekend home of Queen Elizabeth. After
lunch, a quick drive will take us to London.
Our visit includes the Tower of London for
a view of the Crown Jewels, followed by a
panoramic tour that takes in all the famous
sights: the Parliament Building, the Big Ben,
the Trafalgar Square, the Piccadilly Circus,
the Tower Bridge, and a photo stop in front
of Buckingham Palace.
Day
3
London to Brussels,
Belgium to Amsterdam, Netherlands
From
London, you will board the comfortable Eurostar
Train, which will take you to Brussels. You
will have an opportunity to visit the Grand
Palace, the Flamboyant City Hall, the Guild
Houses of the once powerful merchant unions,
and the legendary Mannenkin-Pis Statue, they
symbol of Brussels. Then, a relaxing drive
will take you to Amsterdam, the renowned Venice
of the North. Later, a canal cruise will give
you an intimate view of the city.
Day 4 Amsterdam
to Cologne, Germany to Frankfurt
The
day will begin with a visit to a diamond cutting
and polishing factory. Here, you will have
an opportunity to watch as diamonds are cut
and polished. Then, we proceed to the city
of Cologne for a short visit of the most important
cathedral in Germany, the Dom. Both the city
and the Dom suffered heavy damages during
WWII. After the war, new buildings sprung
up replacing those that were bombed, but the
Dom was repaired according to its original
design. Later that day, you will take a cruise
on the Rhine River, passing vineyards, castles,
and picturesque riverside towns.
Day 5 Frankfurt
to Lake Titisee to Rhine Falls to Lucerne,
Switzerland
The
tour will begin with a visit to one of the
most romantic sites in Germany, the Heidelberg
Castle. You will then have lunch at Lake Titisee
in the Black Forest Region. You will also
have an opportunity at this time to do some
shopping or just browsing around. The next
stop will be at Rhine Falls, the largest waterfall
in Central Europe, where you can take pictures
of the beautiful scenery. Lastly, you will
travel to the city of Lucerne in Switzerland.
Day 6 Lucerne
In
Lucerne, the day will begin with a cable car
ride to the top of Mount Titilis for a fantastic
birds eye view of the surrounding snow
covered peaks. After this, the rest of the
day is open to you for shopping and relaxing.
Day 7 Lucerne
to Liechtenstein to Innsbruck, Austria to
Salzburg
From
Lucerne, a tour guide will take you to Liechtenstein.
This city is heaven to stamp collectors. The
tour will continue to the scenic Innsbruck
for a quick visit of the ski jump of the 1964
and 1976 Olympics and Holy Roman Emperor Maxmillianss
Golden Roof in the Old Town. There will also
be free time to shop for the famous Austrian
crystal. You will then stay overnight in Salzburg.
Day 8 Salzburg
to Vienna
You
will enjoy a leisure morning in Salzburgs
Old Town. Then, the tour will continue on
to visit Mozarts Birth Place, Mirabell
Garden, or shop for some Austrian specialties.
At the end of the day, you will stay overnight
in Vienna.
Day 9 Vienna
to Graz
The
city tour includes the Schonbrun Palace and
its gardens. This is the royal residence of
the Hapsburg Ruler for generations. Then,
the tour will make a stop at the Belvedere
Garden, a great place for taking pictures.
You will then enjoy a nice drive pass the
Vienna Opera House, the Ringstrasse, the Parliament
Building, the Hofburg, and the City Hall.
Time will then be set aside for lunch and
shopping. If you want, you may also visit
St. Stephens Church. In the late afternoon,
you will travel to the city of Graz for an
overnight stay.
Day 10 Graz
to Venice, Italy
Today,
you will visit perhaps the most enchanting
city in Italy, Venice. Some sites you will
be visiting will include the St. marks
Basilica, the Magical Piazza St. Marco, the
Bridge of Sighs, and the outside of Dodges
Palace. If time permits, you will have an
opportunity to take an unforgettable gondola
ride to see the Grand Canal from the best
vantage point.
Day 11 Venice
to Florence to Rome (Breakfast
and Lunch will be provided)
Florence
is a city built by many geniuses and the birth
place of the Italian Renaissance. Other attractions
you will visit includes the Duomo, the Bronze
Doors of the Baptistry, the 13th
century Santa Croce Church, and the Signoria
Square. Later, you will have a chance to shop
in one of the major leather factory outlet
stores for souvenirs. Then, you will travel
to Rome, the Eternal City.
Day 12 Rome
to Lucca (Breakfast
and Lunch will be provided)
Rome
is over 2700 years old but the city is full
of life. The Roman city tour visits the Colosseum,
the Roman Forum, the Constantines Triumphal
Arch, St. Peters Square, and St. Peters
Basilica. You will stay overnight in Lucca.
Day 13 Lucca
to Pisa to Monaco to Nice, France
From
Lucca, you will travel to Pisa where the famous
Tower of Pisa stands. The Italians once had
the idea of straightening the tower to save
it from collapsing but will it still be so
amazing and interesting if it werent
leaning? After visiting the Tower of Pisa,
you will take a leisure drive along the stunning
Italian Riviera. You will arrive at the Monte
Carlo Casino in Monaco where you can try your
luck at one of the slot machines. You will
stay overnight in the city of Nice in France.
Day 14 Nice
to Lyon
The
city, Nice, was founded by the Greeks. The
Greeks named this city after the goddess of
victory. Today, Nice is a prosperous city
with a thriving high-tech industry. It is
also one of the most popular summer vacation
spots on the French Riviera. In the morning,
we proceed to Lyon through the picturesque
Rhone Valley. Lyon once built its wealth on
banking, silk weaving, and publishing. Now,
it is one of Frances major industrial
cities. You will stay overnight in Lyon.
Day 15 Lyon
to Paris
From
the city of Lyon, your tour guide will take
you to Paris. After your arrival in Paris,
you will have some leisure time to rest or
to shop at the famous Lafayette Department
Store or a duty free store. If shopping is
not right for you, there are also outdoor
cafes where you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee.
In the evening, you may take an optional night
tour of the city. The night tour of the city
will include a cruise on the Seine River and
a panoramic night view of the city.
Day 16 Paris
On
the last day of the tour, you will have an
opportunity to visit the Louvre Museum, the
Versailles Palace, and the Eiffel Tower. Other
sites include the Notre Dame Cathedral, the
Place De La Concord, the Champs Elysees, the
Arc De Triomphe, and the Invalides.
Day 17 Paris
to USA
Depart
from London on an overnight flight to USA.
