Day 1 USA
to London, England
You
will depart from the United States on an overnight
flight to London.
Day 2
London
In
the morning, we will travel to the picturesque
town of Windsor for a visit of the State Apartments
of Windsor Castle. This is one of the oldest,
continuously inhabited royal residence in
the world and the weekend home of Queen Elizabeth.
After lunch, you will check in at the local
hotel for the next two nights.
Day 3 London
There
will be a morning visit to the Tower of London
for a view of the crown jewels. Then, there
will be a panoramic tour of the city, which
includes the Parliament Building, Big Ben,
Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, and the
Tower Bridge. In front of the Buckingham Palace
is a great photo spot. The afternoon will
be set aside as leisure time.
Day 4 London
to Paris, France
In
the morning, you will board the supremely
comfortable Eurostar Train and arrive at Paris,
France. After the arrival, free time is set
aside for you to shop at the world famous
Lafayette Department Store or a duty free
store. You may also just sit at an outdoor
café and watch the busy streets. In
the evening, perhaps you would like to join
the optional illumination tour of Paris. This
tour includes a cruise on the River Seine
and a ticket to the 2nd floor of
the Eiffel Tower for a panoramic view of the
city.
Day 5 Paris
According
to French government statistics, Paris is
visited by more tourists than any other city
in the world. The full day tour takes you
to all the famous landmarks, the Eiffel Tower,
the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Place De La
Concord, the Champs Elysees, the Arc De Triomphe,
and Les Invalides. A quick drive outside the
city takes us to Versailles Palace, once the
pride of France and the envy of many monarchs
in Europe. Later, we visit the Louvre Museum
to see some of the most famous works of art
in its incomparable collection.
Day 6 Paris
to Lucerne, Switzerland
Today,
you will depart from Paris and arrive at Lucerne.
You will have an opportunity to tour the scenes
of the rural beauties of France; vineyards,
rolling farm lands, forest, pastures, and
villages. In the evening, dinner will be served.
Then, we will take a short walk from the hotel
to the center of town. Perhaps some shopping
can be done tonight, or you can enjoy a drink
in one of the outdoor cafés. You can
also take a walk along the shores of the lovely
Lake Lucerne.
Day 7 Lucerne
to Mt. Titlis
In
Lucerne, you will take an exciting cable car
ride to the top of Mt. Titilis for a fantastic
birds eye view of the surrounding snow
covered peaks. In the afternoon, free time
will be available for you to shop for Swiss
watches and other Swiss specialities.
Day 8 Lecerne
to Milan to Venice, Italy (Breakfast
and Lunch will be provided today)
Today,
we travel to Milan, the center of fashion
and design of Italy. Sites you will see include
the fantastic Cathedral, La Scala, and the
Da Vinci Statue. The construcion of the Cathedral
began in the 14th century and was
completed in the 20th century and
La Scala was one of the most important opera
houses in the world. Later, you will proceed
to perhaps the most enchanting of all, Venice,
Italy.
Day 9 Venice
to Pisa to Lucca
Our
morning sightseeing tour of Venice begins
with the fantastic St. Marks Basilica,
the Magical Piazza St. Marco, and the Bridge
of Sighs. Then, if time permits, you may want
to take an unforgettable gondola ride and
see the Grand Canal from the best vantage
point. Later, we travel to the Leaning Tower
of Pisa. The Italians once had the idea of
straightening the Tower to save it from collapsing.
But, would it still be so amazing and interesting
if it werent leaning? Well, you decide.
In the evening, there will be an overnight
stay in Lucca.
Day 10 Lucca
to Florence to Rome (Breakfast
and Lunch will be served today)
Florence
is the birth place of the Italian Renaissance,
and a city built by many geniuses. We will
visit the Duomo, the Bronze Doors of the Baptistry
(also known as the Gates of Paradies
by Michelangelo because of its perfection),
and the 13th century Santa Croce
Basilica, Signoria Square. Later, free time
will be available to shop in a major leather
factory outlet store.
Day 11 Rome
Rome,
a city over 2700 years old and still feels
young and vital. There are fountains, piazzas,
ancient monuments and the vivacious and gregarious
Romans who specialize in La Bolce Vita. The
city tour visits some of the most well-known
landmarks; The Colosseum, The Roman Forum,
Constantines Triumphal Arch, Spanish
Steps, Trevi Fountain, St. Peters Square,
and St. Peters Basilica. Later that
day, you may check out many of the famous
Italian brands on Via Condotti.
Day 12 Rome
to the USA (Breakfast
will be served)
You
will depart from Rome on a flight back to
the USA.
