You will board an international flight from USA to Beijing.
Your flight will
arrive in Beijing in the evening. A
tour guide will meet with you and help you transfer to your hotel for a good
night’s rest.
Beijing is the
political center of China’s past and present.
There will be a full day tour of the city, visiting sites such as the
Tiananmen Square, the Summer Palace and the Forbidden City. In the evening, you will be served the world
famous Peking Duck Banquet.
The highlight of any China tour will not be complete if you don’t see the Great Wall of China. Spanning thousands of miles across Northern China, the Great Wall has been aptly named one of the world’s seven great man-made wonders. When the tour of the Great Wall has come to an end, you will head to the Ming Tomb Museum and the solemn Temple of Heaven. In the evening, you can enjoy a Chinese Acrobatics Show.
Wuhan is an important city in central China. You will receive a brief tour of the city which will include the Yellow Crane Tower. At the end of the day, you will board a ship for the Yangtze River Cruise.
Upon arrival at
Jiujiang, you will set leave on a full day excursion to Mt. Lushan. Mt. Lushan is famous for its precipitous
cliffs, waterfalls and deep gullies.
You will board the ship again in the evening and continue on the cruise to
Mt. Huangshan.
Still on the Yangtze
River Cruise, you will depart the ship and go on a full day shore excursion to
Mt. Huangshan. You will spend the whole
day in beautiful Mt. Huangshan, known for its unusual rock formations, pine
trees, sea of clouds and hot springs.
In the evening, you will board the cruise ship again and travel towards
Jiujiang.
In the morning, your
tour guide will take you on a tour of China’s commercial capital,
Shanghai. You will also make stops at
the Yu Garden, the Nanjing Road, and the famous Bund. As you walk along the river at the Bund, you will see the
international influences on Shanghai.
Your last shore
excursion on the cruise will be Yangzhou City, which is nearly 2500 years old
and surrounded by weeping willows and pavilions. Your journey will continue to Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu
Province. Sightseeing at Nanjing
includes Dr. Sun Yat Sen’s Mausoleum and the Ming Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang Tomb
Site.
The early morning
will be set aside for your leisure time.
Then, your tour guide will help you transfer to the airport for your
return flight to the USA.
